Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer for the Advanced Technology team in the Electrical Sector. You will design mechanical systems and subsystems for power electronic based circuit breakers, drive prototyping and testing, and ensure reliability and safety across low and medium voltage applications.

You will collaborate with marketing, manufacturing, and customers to lead new product development from inception through validation and production implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in new product design, development, testing and optimization.
• Strong experience with Pro-E/Creo or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and subsystems for power electronics based circuit breakers; drive innovation.
• Prototype, test, validate and iterate designs to ensure reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with product line marketing, manufacturing, quality and customers; manage development projects end-to-end.
