Qualifications

• Experience bringing a new material to market from ideation to production.
• Solid understanding of materials science and polymer product development.
• Hands-on thermo-plastic engineering experience.
• Passionate about testing and troubleshooting, not afraid to test hundreds of times.
• Ability to design and conduct rigorous experiments to optimize materials.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative to learn new skills.
• Appreciates the value of good documentation.
• B.S., M.S., or PhD in a relevant science or engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Build world-class SLS materials for 3D printing from lab explorations to commercialization.
• Lead research that pushes material performance to next-gen solutions.
• Collaborate with product, hardware, and software teams to iterate material performance based on customer feedback.
• Develop methodologies to evaluate material formulations with coordination to SLS print systems.
