Job summary

Formlabs, a leader in 3D printing technology, is seeking a Materials Program Manager to drive development from concept to production across engineering and product teams. You will coordinate internal and external partners, manage schedules and risks, and guide programs to successful launches while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in engineering/R&D with proven program management, and a BS/BE in engineering or science.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or R&D with demonstrated project/program management.
• Ability to translate concepts from lab to commercialization.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge to drive decisions and strategy.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable leading discussions.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategy, planning, execution and delivery of technically complex products from concept through production.
• Monitor progress, evaluate quality, and manage issue resolutions; report status to leadership.
• Serve as link between program teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Define scope and develop program plans that meet cost and schedule targets.
• Coordinate beta testing and create externally facing technical documents.
• Oversee program closure including post-launch issue tracking and documentation.
