Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned robotics leader to develop scalable Physical AI and robotics solutions for industrial clients in the United States. You will build architectures, manage a Centre of Excellence, and coordinate with clients, partners, and industry units to drive roadmaps from PoC to production.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in robotics tech leadership, strong ROS/ROS2 experience, and a track record of delivering complex projects across industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with classical robotics technologies: ROS/ROS2, motion planning, sensor fusion, and simulation environments.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Products, HPS, Resources, CMT, or related industries. (Experience in Automotive, Life Sciences, and Public Services is highly preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading technical workstreams (i.e., Solution Architect, Tech Lead, or Integrative Tech Generalist in interdisciplinary teams)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading robotics, software, or technology consulting projects within industrial or research environments
• Bachelor's degree in robotics, computer science (or related) or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Responsibilities

• Build Physical AI & Robotics solutions that transform clients’ operations.
• Development of scalable Physical AI architectures with a focus on autonomy, Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model integration, real-time systems, and simulation-to-reality pipelines.
• Management of a Physical AI / Robotics Centre of Excellence (3–10 people) across phases such as PoC, pilot, and production rollout.
• Execution of technology benchmarks, venture screenings, and establishment of robust demo and test setups leveraging the latest foundation models (NVIDIA GR00T, π0, OpenVLA).
• Close coordination with clients, partners, and Accenture industry units—from roadmap creation to productive implementation, including alignment with ecosystem players such as NVIDIA, Boston Dynamics, and Universal Robots.
• Active contribution to the Next-Gen Robotics strategy: tech roadmaps, partner development, Physical AI ecosystem positioning, and internal enablement initiatives.
• Work with the project team, team leaders, project delivery leads, and client stakeholders to create stand-out Physical AI Robotics offerings
• Develop strong relationships with clients and gain the trust of key advisors
• Make the business case for the Physical AI & Robotics solution recommended to the client
• Pitch in on Accenture sales efforts when needed
• Continue to learn and develop your technical expertise and business expertise
• Be ready to rack up those air miles with weekly travel to client sites Monday through Thursday
