Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site hearing screenings in the hospital after birth. You will work with families, provide education, and ensure accurate documentation across shifts.

As Lead HST, you will support training, schedule coordination, and liaison with hospital staff to maintain high-quality screening programs, while complying with PPE, vaccinations, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required or must obtain upon offer.
• Availability to work on weekends and national holidays.
• 10% travel required (occasional meetings or trainings).

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screenings and collect data for each baby.
• Provide parent education and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Lead designated hospital locations and assist with training of new technicians.
• Coordinate scheduling with the Site Supervisor and communicate operational needs.
