Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based hearing screens for newborns. You will screen, educate parents, and act as the lead resource at designated hospitals within a Site Supervisor’s market.

You will train on the job, maintain documentation, and coordinate with hospital staff to ensure timely, accurate screening and reporting. This role requires travel and weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required
• 10% travel required (occasional meetings or trainings)

Responsibilities

• Screen newborns for hearing loss in hospital settings.
• Provide parent education during screenings.
• Serve as the primary operational resource at designated locations.
• Upload screen results and ensure documentation is complete.
• Promote compliance with screening protocols and hospital requirements.
