Job summary

GFO Home is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the activities of our new home construction projects, ensuring schedules, safety, quality and customer satisfaction throughout the build.

You will oversee development to final construction in a high-production environment, coordinate with trade partners, resolve daily issues, manage budgets and ensure compliance with codes and standards while maintaining a clean, organized site.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience reading blueprints and site plans.
• Ability to manage budgets and prevent cost overruns.
• Proven ability to oversee construction processes in high-production environments.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and municipal permitting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of new home construction projects from development through final build.
• Ensure schedules, safety, quality standards and customer satisfaction are maintained.
• Coordinate with trade partners to improve quality and efficiency.
• Maintain open communication with homeowners and Sales to manage activities and referrals.
• Resolve issues related to daily construction activities (vendors, work orders, progress, design).
• Authorize payments for materials and work completed and ensure on-time delivery.
• Inspect workmanship to conform to company standards and maintain an organized job site.
