Job summary

First America Homes, a private Houston-based homebuilder and a division of The Signorelli Company, is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee all phases of new home construction from permitting to closing. You will coordinate subcontractors, inspect work, and ensure safety, quality and on-time completion within budgets.

Minimum 2 years of new home building experience is preferred; strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of new home building experience preferred.
• New home construction experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete homebuilding process within an assigned community or geographic area.
• Supervise and mentor field assistants and coordinate trade contractors.
• Ensure adherence to production timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Address homeowner warranty requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain proactive communication with homebuyers throughout construction and closing.
• Coordinate with the corporate office to align on progress and priorities.
• Provide on-the-job training to Construction Manager Trainees, if assigned.
