Job summary

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Team Lead Software Engineer (.NET) to drive end-to-end modernization from legacy to microservices. You will guide architecture, coordinate with Product, lead estimates, and own production reliability for backend services.

This role requires strong leadership, deep .NET expertise, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes in complex systems. You will manage engineering teams, run 1-on-1s, and ensure on-time, high-quality releases while improving processes and

Qualifications

• Solid .NET engineering background with C#, ASP.NET Core and .NET 8.
• Deep REST API, microservices experience and database design.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and refactoring monorepos.
• Proven leadership: run teams, 1-on-1s, performance reviews, delivery.
• Strong Jira discipline and ability to estimate complex work.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end monolith-to-microservices modernization from analysis to production.
• Collaborate with Product and Architecture to set realistic estimates.
• Lead architectural decisions across .NET Core services and data stores.
• Be the escalation point for complex implementations and migrations.
• Drive team improvements, delivery cadence, and production stability.
