Qualifications

• 15+ years in Combat Systems and Systems Engineering
• Experience leading architecture evaluations, technology selections, and development strategies
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition, MBSE, C4ISR standards and related practices

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for AN/BYG-1 and lead system architecture, integration, and engineering oversight.
• Direct architecture evaluations, technology trade studies, and performance assessments to guide development paths.
• Lead efforts to define and refine system requirements aligned with Navy performance specs and mission needs.
• Oversee design reviews, code reviews, and configuration audits to ensure quality and performance.
• Monitor design integration across hardware, software, and external interfaces for cohesive functionality.
• Collaborate with program management and Navy stakeholders to assess risks and identify innovation opportunities.
• Lead or support verification and validation activities, including test planning and readiness assessments.
• Mentor engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
