Job summary

A3 Technology, Inc. seeks experienced Integration Engineers to serve as technical lead for the West Service Area field team, guiding integration of NAS components and overseeing migrations from legacy copper and TDM to modern fiber/IP networks across NAS.

The role combines hands-on network work with leadership responsibilities, requiring deep telecom expertise, security clearance eligibility, and travel to FAA facilities.

Qualifications

• College degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline (or equivalent military or field experience).
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications network engineering, circuit integration, or infrastructure planning.
• Deep technical command of BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, and IPv6, specifically telecommunications infrastructure for TDM-to-IP conversion.
• Hands-on experience with optical networking (fiber), telecom network infrastructure hardware, server-level deployments, testing, validation and acceptance.
• Proven ability to model network growth and optimize capacity during large-scale system upgrades.
• Telecommunications infrastructure experience with ground networks, air to ground systems and technologies.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Experience leading the technical integration side of large infrastructure initiatives; ability to apply project management methodologies to ensure delivery, compliance, and mission alignment.
• Working knowledge of cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support hybrid NAS environments.
• Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with FAA BNATCS protocols or similar mission-critical government network standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration, implementation, and testing of systems supporting the NAS. Provide technical direction to field teams and take ownership of assigned activities.
• Manage technical activities throughout the network lifecycle, directing migration of legacy TDM circuits to IP-based infrastructure including activation and cutover.
• Perform hands-on configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, protocols, servers, and related hardware.
• Use dashboards and KPIs to evaluate network performance and ensure fiber/IP infrastructure meets reliability and performance requirements.
• Analyze data to identify trends and risks; develop corrective actions to maintain successful implementation and operation.
• Develop and deliver status reports, dashboards, documentation, and briefings for stakeholders and leadership.
