Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced Municipal Lead to oversee municipal engineering projects, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance. The role requires a strong engineering background and proven leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in municipal engineering, with at least 2 years in a project management role.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD software.
• Strong leadership, communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers and technicians in the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of municipal engineering projects.
• Utilize Civil3D and AutoCAD to design and review engineering plans and drawings.
• Coordinate with departments, contractors, and stakeholders to meet schedule and budget.
• Oversee preparation of engineering reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices; drive continuous improvement.

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team a Municipal Lead. This is a pivotal role that requires a dynamic individual with a robust engineering background and proven leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing municipal engineering projects, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance. Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor engineers and technicians in the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of municipal engineering projects.
• Utilize Civil3D and AutoCAD software to design and review engineering plans and drawings.
• Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of municipal engineering services.
• Participate in meeting with clients to discuss project plans and address any concerns.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in municipal engineering, with at least 2 years in a project management.
• Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD software.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong knowledge of municipal engineering principles, practices, and methods.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, other departments, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
