Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Municipal Engineer to lead municipal infrastructure projects and serve as a technical leader in the Illinois market. You will mentor developing staff and help drive expansion opportunities while working on roadway, utility, drainage, and community infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
• 10–15+ years of municipal, civil, transportation, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience managing municipal utility, roadway, drainage, and site development projects.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, Bentley CONNECT, or similar design platforms.
• Knowledge of stormwater management, utility coordination, roadway design, and permitting.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to future office and team growth.
