Jobot is seeking an experienced Municipal Engineer in Illinois to lead municipal projects and mentor a growing team. The role offers remote and hybrid work options, with a focus on delivering diverse infrastructure initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings 10-15+ years of relevant engineering experience, a PE license (or reciprocity), and proficiency in Civil 3D/OpenRoads/Bentley tools to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• PE license required or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
• 10-15+ years of municipal, civil, transportation, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience managing municipal utility, roadway, drainage, and site development projects.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, Bentley CONNECT, or similar design platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leader for municipal projects.
• Mentor developing staff and contribute to office growth.
• Lead projects across roadway, utility, drainage and site development.
• Coordinate with public-sector clients and decision-makers.

Job Details
