Job summary

Conifer Realty LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Ontario, NY properties. The role combines hands-on maintenance with team leadership, ensuring safety, quality, and resident satisfaction.

Salary is $24.00-$25.00 per hour, full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours) and a $1,500 sign-on bonus paid over the first year. Candidates should have 5+ years of apartment maintenance and a HVAC certification, plus skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience with supervisory duties.
• HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
• Proficiency with property management software like Yardi; strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold Conifer's quality and safety standards.
• Manage work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
• Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks when needed.
