Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our multifamily properties in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee general maintenance, supervise technicians, and handle electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs while coordinating with property teams and residents.

The role requires 2+ years in property maintenance, strong customer service and communication skills, a valid HS diploma, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on-call evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of property maintenance experience (apartment maintenance preferred).
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings on-call.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and climb stairs.
• Must have own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of multifamily apartment buildings, including occupied units.
• Supervise future maintenance technicians.
• Repairs in electrical, plumbing and appliances.
• Participation in cleaning and painting during unit turns.
• Snow removal
• Regular, professional, and courteous communications with Property Managers, Maintenance Managers, and Residents.
• On-call rotation; responds to emergency calls after hours and on weekends.
• Other duties as assigned
