Job summary

Gorman & Company seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager for our Oregon Corporate Office. You will lead multifamily projects from pre-construction through closeout, owning schedules, budgets, trade coordination, quality, and stakeholder communication with internal teams and external partners.

You’ll travel ~20% of the time and play a key role in delivering quality, affordable housing while collaborating across construction, asset management, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of construction experience, with large-scale multifamily projects.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, with scheduling and budgeting understanding.
• Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Experience with affordable housing programs or LIHTC is a plus.
• Strong financial and analytical skills for budgets, forecasts, change orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of multifamily construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and occupancy plans.
• Establish and manage budgets, including GMP and lump-sum contracts; monitor costs and change orders.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades; manage manpower, sequencing, and conflicts.
• Oversee quality control, codes, safety, and owner expectations.
• Manage project documentation and stakeholder communication across teams.
• Support Superintendents and project staff to foster collaboration.
