In this role, you’ll lead multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, taking ownership of project schedules, budgets, trade coordination, quality, and stakeholder communication while working closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and internal teams. This position will travel throughout the portfolio approximately 20% of the time and offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects that create quality, affordable housing and stronger communities.

Establish and manage project budgets, including GMP and lump-sum contracts, while tracking costs, forecasting variances, managing change orders, and protecting contingency and project fee. Lead subcontractor and trade coordination, including buyout, contract compliance, manpower planning, sequencing, productivity, and resolution of scope or coordination issues. Oversee quality control and project compliance, ensuring work meets contract documents, building codes, accessibility standards, safety requirements, and owner expectations. Manage project documentation and stakeholder communication, including RFIs, submittals, OAC meetings, meeting minutes, project reporting, and coordination with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and consultants. Lead and support Superintendents, field staff, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers while fostering strong collaboration across construction, accounting, asset management, and executive leadership.

Experience with affordable housing, government funding programs, Section 3, prevailing wage, LIHTC, or other programmatic requirements preferred. Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with project budgets, cost forecasting, pay applications, change orders, and cost-to-complete projections. Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Project, along with a valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and ability to travel throughout the portfolio and overnight as needed.
