Job summary

Gorman & Company, based out of Atlanta, GA, seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily projects from pre-construction through closeout. You’ll own schedules, budgets, trade coordination, quality, and stakeholder communication with teams across the organization.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong financial/analytical skills, with travel ~20% of the time. A competitive salary is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of construction experience with large multifamily projects.
  • Experience managing projects from pre-construction to closeout with scheduling and budgeting knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, Section 3, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills including budgets, forecasts, and change orders.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Project; valid driver’s license; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of multifamily construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop and manage schedules, milestones, logistics, procurement, and phased occupancy.
  • Establish and manage budgets, including GMP and lump-sum contracts, and track variances.
  • Oversee subcontractor coordination, buyouts, manpower planning, and sequencing.
  • Ensure quality, safety, codes, accessibility, and owner expectations.
  • Manage project docs and stakeholder communication including RFIs, submittals, and meetings.
  • Support Superintendents, PMs, and engineers; collaborate across teams.

## Project Manager - SoutheastApply: Atlanta, GA: Full time: Posted Today: JR100487**Join our team as a Construction Project Manager in our Southeast Market!**Gorman & Company is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Southeast team, based out of our Atlanta, GA office. In this role, you’ll lead multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, taking ownership of project schedules, budgets, trade coordination, quality, and stakeholder communication while working closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and internal teams.
