Job summary

ARCO in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Project Manager for multifamily construction. You will lead preconstruction through closeout, work with clients and the design team on budgets, and negotiate contracts while overseeing subcontractors and schedules.

The role requires 3–7 years in construction management or engineering design, a BS in engineering, and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Competitive base pay with bonus potential and strong benefits await.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 3-7 years of construction management or engineering design experience.
• Experience leading ground-up multifamily, senior living, hospitality, or student housing projects preferred.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Work with clients and design team to develop preliminary concepts and budgets.
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, reduce costs, and discuss contracts.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for trades and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to procure materials/equipment to enhance budget or schedule.
• Collaborate with Project Superintendent on scopes, schedule, and logistics.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subs, and vendors.
• Lead on-site OAC meetings to review progress and address challenges.
• Track performance vs budget; prepare pay applications and progress reports.
