Merrick & Company is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead multi-discipline teams on Oil, Gas, Chemical, and Bioprocessing projects. The role involves directing engineers and designers, interfacing with clients, and ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.

The ideal candidate has extensive engineering experience, ABET-accredited education, and strong skills in leadership, communication, and scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering experience and 5+ years in Project Engineering.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Background in Mechanical or Process Engineering and industrial design.
• Experience with Oil, Gas, Chemical, Power, Industrial Manufacturing, Food & Personal Care and Bioprocessing projects.
• Experience with codes, industry standards and guidelines (ASME, API, NFPA, PIP, etc.).
• Experience supervising engineers and designers.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Scheduling Software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or anytime in the future.
