Job summary

AION is seeking a Maintenance Manager at Chesterfield Flats under the direction of the Property Manager to oversee high-level maintenance, repairs, and project management across the apartment community.

You will ensure curb appeal, safety compliance, and timely responses to resident service requests while supervising maintenance staff, coordinating vendor activity, and managing annual budget input.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CFC Certification Universal is required.
• Able to read and interpret maintenance records and plans.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of maintenance of the community.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain records for all work orders, services, and contracts.
• Walk the property daily to uphold curb appeal and safety.
• Coordinate apartment turns and renovations; assist with move-outs.
• Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving strategies.
• Manage inventory and coordinate contracted services.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with policies.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and maintain 24/7 coverage.
