Job summary

Cherokee Millwright in Tennessee is seeking a Multi-Craft Millwright to install, dismantle, and move heavy equipment per layout and rigging plans. This role spans millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, civil trades, and more.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, dismantling machinery, aligning equipment, and using hand/power tools. On-site, cross-training across crafts may occur to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
• Dismantle, move, or install machinery per plans.
• Assemble, align, and install equipment using hand and power tools.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts as required.
• Work across trades as needed.

Responsibilities

• Examine objects and determine needed installations, services, or repairs.
• Aligns machines using hoists, jacks, and measuring tools.
• Moves machinery using hoists, dollies, and forklifts.
• Constructs foundations and secures equipment.
