Job summary

Cherokee Millwright in Cleveland, TN seeks a Multi-Craft Millwright Foreman to oversee installation, dismantling, and movement of heavy machinery. You will read blueprints, supervise a crew of up to 12, coordinate schedules, and ensure safe, efficient execution of projects on site.

This hands-on leadership role requires cross-training in millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, and related trades, with emphasis on quality, safety, and problem solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or four to five years related experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to cross-train in multiple trades including millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, civil work.

Responsibilities

• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on priority and equipment.
• Monitor team performance and provide mentoring as needed.
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine procedures for installation and alignment.
• Dismantle, move, and reassemble machinery and equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Ensure safety, maintain tools and equipment, and manage inventories.
