Job summary

Our World Energy in Denver, CO is seeking an MPU Battery Technician to troubleshoot solar system components, support installation teams, and oversee the electrical connection between the solar array and the grid. You will lead electrical work and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

We require at least 3 years of electrical installation/repair experience, an electrical license, and knowledge of NEC/local codes. Onsite role with growth within a fast-growing solar company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience.
• Electrical license required.
• Working knowledge of NEC and local building and green book codes.
• Experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels.
• Ability to manage work to meet timelines.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line drawings.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPU).
• Work to conform to national and local building codes.
• Collaborate with team to complete residential solar installations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Lead electrical system installations to interconnect the solar array to the grid.
• Ensure electricians' work meets NEC and local codes.
• Coordinate with branch and homeowners for system repairs.
• Interface with leadership for compliance and training requirements.
