Job summary

SunVena Solar LLC is seeking a highly motivated MPU Battery Technician to support diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventive and corrective maintenance for MPU and battery systems. The role reports to the Service Manager and requires travel to customers' homes or businesses to install, test, and instruct on proper use.

The ideal candidate has strong technical and mechanical skills, with knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

Able to work safely with heights on ladders and in confined areas.
Be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of MPU systems, battery inverters, storage units, and related equipment.
Assist in commissioning of battery storage systems during project installation.
Ensure MPU and battery storage systems are set up correctly.
Install hardware, MPU units, battery modules, inverters, and monitoring equipment.
Assist with commissioning of inverters and inspection of battery storage components.
Mechanical mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot, test, and repair inverter and MPU components.
Electrical wiring of MPU/battery systems (AC and DC).
Perform voltage testing with PPE and proper procedures.
