Job summary

SunVena is seeking a highly motivated MPU Battery Technician to join the field-service team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MPU systems and battery storage equipment at customer sites.

Responsibilities include commissioning of storage systems, installing hardware, wiring AC/DC, and testing equipment. Candidates should be comfortable traveling statewide, climbing ladders, and working with hand and power tools in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
• Able to lift 50 lbs+ and move equipment to complete tasks.
• Must be willing to climb ladders, rooftops, and stand for long periods.
• Must hold a valid state driver's license.
• Willing to travel overnight across the state when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of MPU systems and related equipment.
• Assist in commissioning battery storage systems during installation.
• Install MPU units, battery modules, inverters, and monitoring equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair inverter systems and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Log project documentation and complete RMAs as needed.
