Job summary

Our World Energy is actively seeking an MPU Battery Technician to troubleshoot solar system components, support install teams, and oversee electrical connections from solar arrays to the grid onsite in Denver, CO. You will lead MPU installations, ensure safety procedures, and coordinate with homeowners and branch teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in electrical installation and holds an electrical license, with strong knowledge of NEC and local codes for residential solar projects.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience.
• Electrical license required.
• Knowledge of NEC and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPU).
• Ensure work meets national and local codes.
• Collaborate with team to complete residential solar installs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Lead electrical interconnection between solar array and grid.
• Ensure electricians' workmanship complies with NEC standards.
• Coordinate repairs with branch team and homeowners.
• Interface with branch leadership on compliance and education.
