Job summary

Our World Energy in Dallas, Texas is seeking an experienced Battery Foreman to lead installation crews delivering solar and MPU battery backup systems on-site. You will supervise field operations, mentor crew members, and ensure work complies with design, safety, and code requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on solar installation experience, a journeyman license, and strong leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential solar installation experience.
• Must be a licensed journeyman.
• Experience with battery storage systems and MPU.
• Familiar with Enphase, Tesla, and other residential battery systems.
• Proficient in electrical panel upgrades including NEC code.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew in installation of solar and MPU battery backup systems (Enphase, Tesla, and others).
• Complete battery system wiring, mounting, commissioning, and device setup.
• Perform MPU work and energy storage system integration.
• Install conduit and wiring in NEC/local code compliance.
• Organize and train crew to meet safety, quality, and schedule standards.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and installation specifications.
• Coordinate with inspectors and utility reps for inspections/interconnections.
• Troubleshoot inverters, batteries, and related devices on-site.
• Enforce OSHA safety protocols and company standards.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to improve field processes.
