Job summary

Snow King Mountain Resort in Jackson, WY seeks a Mountain Sports School Supervisor (seasonal full-time) to oversee MSS operations and staff, including training, scheduling, and safety.

You will lead class formation, mentor instructors, and coordinate with departments to ensure top guest experiences on the mountain. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and PSIA/AASI Level 2 is desired, with weekend/holiday availability a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred or higher.
• PSIA/AASI Level 2; higher levels valued but not required.
• Ability to ski or snowboard all terrain.
• Background check required.
• Availability to work holidays and weekends.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Team player; works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of class formation, aligning students' abilities and skill levels while balancing class sizes.
• Provide on-hill support during sessions and mentor instructors.
• Coordinate with sales desk for staff and product availability.
• Participate in instructor scheduling and adjust as needed.
• Supervise setup/teardown of lesson meeting areas.
• Check in Private Lessons and Local Seasonal Programs.
• Lead weekly instructor training and coordinate with PSIA/AASI teams.
• Assist instructors toward PSIA/AASI certifications.
• Teach skiing/snowboarding as needed with guest safety priority.
• Oversee instructor maintenance, schedules, uniforms, and performance reviews.
• Supervise Multi-Week lesson program including registration and transport coordination.
