Job summary

Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, Inc. is seeking a Snowsports Discovery Center Supervisor to lead instructor training and oversee on-hill operations for daily and school group lessons under the direction of the Snowsports Manager.

The role requires 2 years of supervisory experience, strong customer communication, and the ability to ski or snowboard at an advanced level. Weekend and holiday work, outdoor conditions, and seasonal shifts are expected, with reporting to the Snowsports Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising or managing programs.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers.
• Must ski and/or snowboard at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Establish and mentor instructors by leading through example and policies.
• Oversee on-hill operations for daily and school group lessons under the Snowsports Manager.
• Assist with organizing group lessons, check-in/out participants, and communicate with instructors and parents.
• Ensure safety for all participants; may teach lessons as needed.
