Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a MOT Foreman to supervise the setup and takedown of all traffic control devices and to manage MOT personnel for the duration of the job. This role requires a strong emphasis on safety and team leadership on heavy civil construction sites.

You will lead daily huddles, toolbox talks, identify hazards, supervise the MOT team, and coordinate day/night shifts with potential extended hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years MOT supervision experience.
• MOT advanced certification required.
• Familiarity with FDOT and MUTCD standards.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Safety policies and report incidents, ensuring adherence to Safety as a core value.
• Supervise and ensure a safe work environment in compliance with Middlesex Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Present daily huddles, weekly Toolbox Talks and safety talks.
• Identify potential hazards and assist in maintaining a safe environment for all Team Members.
• Supervise all MOT Team Members.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule including day/night shifts with extended hours when necessary.
• Ensure proper set up, maintenance and removal of all traffic controls.

Skills

5+ years MOT supervision experience

MOT advanced certification

FDOT and MUTCD standards knowledge

Verbal instruction following ability
