Job summary

Vineyard Montessori School seeks a Montessori Certified Lead Teacher for infant through elementary classrooms on Martha’s Vineyard. The role guides child development across ages, maintains a peaceful learning setting, and collaborates with families and staff to support each child’s growth.

Requirements include MACTE Montessori certification, EEC Lead Teacher certification, and a BS in Early Childhood Education or related experience.

Qualifications

• Montessori MACTE certification in-hand or in-progress.
• Must possess EEC Lead Teacher Certification.
• B.S. in Early Childhood Education and teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with families, staff and the Head of School.

Responsibilities

• Lead teacher in a Montessori classroom across age groups.
