Job summary

Vineyard Montessori School is seeking Paraprofessionals/Teacher Aides for Infant to Elementary classrooms. You will support lead teachers in a Montessori setting, engage with children, and help guide routines to promote independence and curiosity.

This role offers year-round work, with both part-time and full-time opportunities. Requirements include being 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in child development and Montessori education.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and take responsibility for the safety and well-being of students.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teacher in creating a Montessori learning environment.
• Interact with children and guide daily routines to foster independence, curiosity and love of learning.
• Provide individualized and small-group support aligned with curriculum and developmental needs.
• Assist with strengthening foundational literacy skills through developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintain a calm, organized classroom and ensure student safety under supervision of Lead Teacher.
