Grow Montessori School in Atlanta's Historic Westside is seeking a full-time Infant Lead Teacher to nurture infants 6 weeks to 18 months within a Montessori-inspired program. We value equity, inclusion, and family partnerships in a nonprofit, diverse learning community.

The ideal candidate has substantial infant experience and a willingness to learn Montessori methods, with strong communication and collaborative skills to support children, families, and colleagues.

Formación

• Substantial experience working with infants.
• Understanding of infant development and caregiving.
• Commitment to supporting children's independence and concentration.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and to receive feedback.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong references from previous employers.
• Knowledge of cultural curriculum development.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain a safe, orderly, and developmentally appropriate environment and schedule aligned with the Montessori philosophy.
• Use observations of the children to inform caregiving and classroom preparation.
• Provide responsive care during feeding, diapering, rest, and other daily routines.
• Support children's emerging independence, movement, communication, and exploration.
• Communicate with families about children's activities and development through Brightwheel and in-person conversations or conferences.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet children’s needs.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and health and safety practices.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, family events, and other school activities as appropriate.
