Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in molecular biology or 5+ years in a molecular biology lab.
• Knowledge of molecular microbiology to perform testing procedures.
• Basic knowledge of food science to analyze microbiological samples.
• Broad knowledge of laboratory safety procedures.
• Independent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Dexterity for micropipetting and sample handling.
• Laboratory technician experience or similar role is valuable.
• Strong written and oral communication with cross‑department teams.
• Organizational and planning skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid and multi-step tests including gene sequencing, DNA subtyping, real-time PCR, and next‑gen sequencing.
• Lead testing schedules and inventory, coordinate with customer care and vendors.
• Verify results before client release and prepare client reports.
• Maintain QA documentation and LIMS records; ensure data integrity.
• Train analysts and participate in ongoing training programs.
• Maintain GMP/ISO 17025 compliant lab space and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Assist in study design and validation of new methods or tests.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere to safety policies and corporate Code of Conduct.
