Title: Lead Mobile Test Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Remote)
Duration: Contract
Work Requirements: USC, GC and Authorized to work in the US.

Job Description:
Your role is to work within and help lead a multidisciplinary project team. You collaborate with other colleagues and support them in order to deliver a high-quality outcome--regardless of the size of the engagement--for the client and Method. You lead the Test Engineering team (with support from other domains and as needed from a Manager or Director) to deliver the best possible outcome for the client and Method. You are a key contributor, playing a central role in charting the project's direction. You mentor junior and mid-level test engineers, helping these Test Engineers develop by providing advice, coaching, and growth opportunities.Responsibilities:

• You work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• You develop testing solutions by:
  • Analyzing information needs and creating test data
  • Write automated test scripts both mobile and web based
  • Conferring with users and engineers
  • Studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
  • Investigating and understanding problem areas
  • Standing up and maintaining the test automation suite
  • Review test cases and ensure that they align with requirements and have appropriate coverage.
  • Design test cases and perform various types of testing such as functional, integration, and end-to-end, on various platforms such as mobile
  • devices and web browsers.
  • Support project teams in defining suitable quality objectives and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback and suggestions to increase quality.
  • Fulfill all the duties of more junior test engineer team members when necessary.
• On smaller to medium size projects:
  • You lead the project to ensure quality deliverables, client satisfaction, and on-time delivery
  • You define test direction, test plan, and outcomes to ensure project success
  • You maintain a leadership and ownership role over the delivery and coordination of the project, along with your Manager/Director and the entire team
  • You represent and communicate the project to the client in regard to kickoff, definition, clarifications, status, and updates
  • You proactively guide and assist colleagues, perceiving needs prior to them becoming issues
  • You exhibit an inclusive leadership style embracing diversity of all kinds, including cognitive diversity

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in test engineering with automated testing

• Experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS.
• Experience with Maestro, Appium or similar tooling for automating browser-based tests
• Strong experience using Javascript as primary coding language
• Experience working within a team developing software or supporting software development efforts
• Experience with Postman or other API automation frameworks
• Able to demonstrate automation best practices
• Experience with Jira or other test management tools
• Experience using GIT and IDE's such as VSCode for automation
• Experience developing and maintaining an automation framework for mobile or web applications .
