Job summary

Directions for Living in Florida seeks a professional Supervisor for the Homeless Outreach Mobile Engagement (HOME) Program. This role provides leadership, coaching, and supervision to counselors and care coordinators, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed outreach and care coordination to adults experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field with a minimum of two years’ leadership experience within an outpatient community mental health organization, homeless services organization or social service agency
• Must have or immediately acquire knowledge of all community resources
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to use personal vehicle to transport clients; valid Florida Driver License and auto insurance; pass annual vehicle inspection

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to Counselors, Behavioral Health Case Managers, Care Coordinators, Referral Coordinators, and other team members
• Ensure high-quality service delivery, regulatory and contractual compliance, and adherence to evidence-based practices
• Promote trauma-informed, person-centered, recovery-oriented services to improve housing stability and well-being
