Lead Mobile Software Engineer (U.S. – Remote/Hybrid)

Position Overview

We seek a Lead Mobile Software Engineer with strong iOS and Android development expertise. In this role, you will collaborate closely with technical leads and stakeholders to deliver robust mobile solutions for clients. You will work alongside other project leads to define requirements, design solutions, and implement high-quality mobile applications. This position reports to an Engineering Manager or Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and solve complex problems.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and drive more excellent value for the company and its clients.
• Actively participate in all engineering project aspects, from planning to execution.
• Continuously learn and improve technical skills; stay current with emerging trends and technologies.
• Maintain awareness of project budgets and timelines to meet project goals.
• Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.
• Conduct peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain best practices.
• Ensure adherence to established processes throughout all project lifecycles.
• Communicate with clients as needed, offering project updates and technical insights.
• Participate in the recruitment process by interviewing potential candidates.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and features to enhance applications and anticipate future client needs.
• Provide Level of Effort (LOE) estimates for tasks and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Remote role: 40 hours/week, 9 am–5 pm Eastern.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have valid U.S. work authorization; No visa sponsorship is available.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of mobile development experience, specializing in iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficient in Swift for iOS (with Xcode and iOS frameworks) and Kotlin for Android (with Android Studio and Gradle).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A mandatory 30-minute online assessment with the camera on will be the one round of the interview process; candidates must agree to participate.
