Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking an ML/AI Security Lead in Plano, TX to own the intelligence layer of a new AI-powered security platform. You will design prompt engineering, build data pipelines, and fine-tune enterprise security models for accurate alert triage and cost-efficient routing.

You will collaborate with the Security Intelligence Engineering team, implement feedback loops, and monitor models in production to sustain performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in applied ML/AI engineering with production deployment.
• Hands-on LLM fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA) on domain data.
• Experience with cloud ML platforms for training, tuning, and endpoints.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and production-grade Python.
• Ability to design evaluation pipelines and report results clearly.
• Understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms.
• Strong communication skills to explain model behavior to non-ML stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design prompt engineering patterns for managed AI services.
• Build data pipelines from security data lakes for labeling and versioning.
• Fine-tune models on enterprise security data for alert triage and risk scoring.
• Implement analyst feedback loops to improve model accuracy over time
• Develop model evaluation frameworks with robust metrics and benchmarking.
• Create a model routing layer to optimize latency, complexity and cost.
• Monitor production models for drift and failure modes.
• Implement centralized token usage monitoring for leadership visibility.
• Collaborate with the Lead Engineer on agent architectures and multi-agent workflows.
• Deploy and manage model inference endpoints across cloud ML services.
