Job summary

Boeing in Berkeley, MO, seeks a Mission Systems Lead Software Architect to own the software architecture for the Mission Systems solution and guide design decisions across security levels and suppliers.

You will coordinate with Digital Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Team Architects, andCustomers to ensure mission readiness, while leading teams across disciplines and driving key program milestones.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience programming in C, C++ or C#.
• 5+ years software development, systems engineering or test on mission systems.
• 5+ years software architecture and embedded systems design.
• 3+ years leading software-related projects or technical teams.
• 3+ years experience with requirements, design, development and test.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Mission Systems software architecture roadmap and vision.
• Lead and approve the software development plan with Architecture leads.
• Ensure teams document and maintain architecture, requirements, interfaces and designs.
• Design and support containerized software architecture implementation.
• Coordinate across Mission Systems teams, Supply Chain, and Customer stakeholders.
• Mentor others and drive documentation for program reviews and deliverables.
