The Staff Project Engineer role leads multi-disciplinary teams to design, integrate, test, and field cutting-edge UAS technologies. Based with Agile Mission Systems (AMS) in San Diego, CA, the position focuses on mission system architecture, rapid capability fielding, and tailored configurations to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field.
• Progressive engineering experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
• Experience with GA-ASI Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse multi-function engineering teams to meet program milestones.
• Represent programs to external stakeholders and DoD interfaces.
• Develop and manage program plans, estimates and schedules.
• Perform system analysis, trade studies, and produce technical data packages.
• Lead design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and system-level integrations.
