Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Berkeley, MO is looking for a Lead Mission System Flying Test Bed (FTB) Engineer to integrate and test advanced tactical sensors on three flying test beds. You will develop and plan tests, coordinate FTB modifications, and execute flight tests.

You will join a cross-functional team in an agile environment, maturing products through the development lifecycle and collaborating across disciplines to meet critical milestones.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field (Electrical/Mechanical/Aeronautical, CS, Data Science, Math, Physics, Chemistry)
• 9+ years of related work experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of test plans to support flight test risk reduction activities
• Lead a team of test engineers and provide technical guidance to meet FTB milestones
• Lead the execution of flight tests to characterize mission system sensor performance
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to define FTB modifications for sensor integration
• Coordinate with Boeing, Test & Evaluation and SMEs to support FTB schedule
• Participate in Combined Test Force to support system verification and inform milestones
• Manage and monitor team and supplier performance to ensure integration and compliance with requirements
