Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Titusville, FL, seeks a Systems Engineer, Associate Manager - Flight Test Optics to lead the FBM Flight Test Operations Team and oversee optical data collection aboard FBM support ships.

You will direct data processing/archival and manage the sea- and air-based optical instrumentation, while mentoring engineers, coordinating staffing, and ensuring rigorous leadership and safety standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Requires technical coordination with Program Office, Systems Engineering, Design Engineering or Customer.
• Experience with Agile development and systems engineering lifecycle processes.
• Must hold active Secret Clearance and be eligible for Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct processing and archival of optics data for post-flight evaluation.
• Oversee setup, maintenance and operation of sea and air-based electro-optical instrumentation for FBM tests.
• Provide local functional oversight to engineers in the discipline.
• Evaluate personnel for performance, promotions, and development.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage staffing and plan assignments.
