Job summary

360X Staffing seeks a Miscellaneous & Specialty Metals Detailer to lead in-house detailing at its Rock Hill, SC facility. You will own 3D modeling and 2D drawings, interface directly with shop fabricators on the floor, and help grow the detailing department.

The role requires advanced Tekla Structures and AutoCAD 3D skills, experience with non-standard systems, and strict adherence to AISC, AWS, OSHA, and IBC/ADA standards. Hybrid potential after performance milestones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in steel detailing in a fabrication shop or detailing environment.
• Experience modeling miscellaneous, architectural, or specialty metals (stairs, railings, canopies).
• Proficiency in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD 3D.
• Knowledge of AISC, AWS, OSHA, IBC/ADA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Produce fabrication-ready 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings.
• Model non-standard systems (stairs, railings, canopies) including specialty metals.
• Generate BOMs, ABMs, bolt lists, cut lists, and DXF/NC files for shop equipment.
• Maintain submittal schedules and resolve shop questions.
• Interface directly with shop floor and leadership; mentor drafters.
• Integrate 3D laser scan data into Tekla/AutoCAD to capture field conditions.
• Inspect on-site assemblies for fit and dimensional accuracy.
