Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to lead studies supporting the Growth and Innovation Group’s project pipeline. You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, manage consultants, and ensure study deliverables align with company standards, budgets, and timelines.

The role involves evaluating technical options, risk, and execution strategies, developing study reports and economic models, and supporting investment decisions. Domestic and international travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and stage-gate processes
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Ability to develop study scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Experience coordinating with consultants and internal stakeholders
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple, concurrent cross-functional studies from IA to start of Feasibility Study.
• Manage engagement of consultants to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Coordinate internal/external resources for Concept, IA,Pre-feasibility and Feasibility studies.
• Document and present study results and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support development of CAPEX/OPEX estimates and execution plans.
• Collaborate with Environmental, Permitting, and Community Relations teams.
