Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NJ teaching certification.
• GPA requirements follow NJ standards.
• Experience in high-performing charter schools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify lesson plans with the grade-level team.
• Use data to teach to mastery of academic skills.
• Engage with students, families and colleagues to support progress.
• Uphold strong classroom management techniques.
• Assist with diagnostic and progress monitoring testing.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Update student performance trackers to guide lessons.
• Participate in school, departmental and parent meetings.
• Participate in school events and programs beyond regular hours.
