You will create engaging lessons, monitor progress, and participate in school activities while upholding high expectations and a commitment to equity across diverse student populations.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ teaching certification in NJ or eligibility under GPA-based path.
• Proven track record of exceptional student achievement in a high-performing charter network.
• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Create and adapt lesson plans aligned with the academic curriculum in collaboration with the grade-level team.
• Use data to drive instruction and target mastery of academic skills.
• Engage students, families, and colleagues to support student progress and wellbeing.
• Maintain a firm and fair classroom management approach.
• Assist with diagnostic and progress monitoring testing across the school.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to achieve learning objectives.
• Update performance trackers and inform lesson planning with data insights.
• Participate in school, department, and parent meetings.
• Attend school events and activities.
