KIPP New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Middle School Math Lead Teacher to guide students toward strong math foundations and college readiness. You will plan and implement data-informed lessons, collaborate with families and staff, and foster a supportive, achievement-focused classroom environment.

You will leverage a track record of classroom excellence to drive student growth, work with diverse populations, and participate in school events that strengthen community partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and implement lesson plans aligned to the academic curriculum and grade-level expectations.
• Use data to inform instruction and drive mastery of math concepts.
• Collaborate with families, students and colleagues to support progress and success.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a supportive learning environment.
• Assist with diagnostic and progress monitoring assessments across the school.
• Track student progress and adjust strategies to meet learning objectives.
• Update performance trackers and inform lesson planning with data insights.
• Participate in school, department and parent meetings and events.
• Engage in school hours beyond regular class time as needed.
