Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Supervisor in Microbiology responsible for hiring, coaching, and motivating staff across lab groups up to Lead Scientist level. You will ensure timely, accurate testing of Environmental Monitoring, raw materials, in-process, and finished products, while upholding GMP, USP, and EP standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising scientists and technicians.
• Knowledge of GMP and regulatory standards (USP/EP).
• Ability to develop protocols and training plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of scientists and technicians to meet deadlines.
• Oversees hiring, training, and staff development to maintain morale.
• Conducts performance evaluations and ensures quality testing programs.
• Ensures compliance of environmental monitoring, materials testing, and product release with specifications.
• Collaborates with Production, QA, Chemistry, Maintenance, Metrology and Validation to meet schedules.
• Mentors staff and develops new personnel and SOPs.
